Othello Tunnels in Hope British Columbia

The drive from Vancouver to Hope was wonderful today. Nice sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, so why not head out to beautiful Hope to check this place out. Pictures online were stunning, and people spoke so nice of it, it only wade sense to check it out. But the views along the way to the destination are alluring all on their own, I spotted several places that I now want to go, just because this part of the valley is so pretty, and mostly easy to access, but that's for future posts to talk about. Onto the actual destination at hand, the Othello Tunnels.

We're a little heavy, me wife two late teen daughters, and we found the walk easy. The grade of the trails was fairly flat, maybe incline/decline here and there but mostly unnoticeable. The tunnels themselves are awesome to look at and the natural rock formations in between the tunnels are stunning. The river below is more stunning. With many portions of the river having brilliant tones of blues and greens, surrounded by the giant boulders and towering trees, this place is a natural wonderland and subtly astounding to the eye. I didn't know where I wanted to look more moment to moment.
